Q&A
Be sure to check back in case more information is added based on questions and feedback we receive.
Can I Bring My Own Alcohol?
We are hosting a completely alcohol-free celebration. We’ll have plenty of water, soda, and other refreshing drinks to keep everyone hydrated for the games. We appreciate you honoring this choice and celebrating with us. If this prevents you from celebrating with us, we understand!
What kind of sports/games will there be?
We’ll have soccer, bags (cornhole), volleyball, basketball, and a variety of other lawn and court games. Whether you're a "D1 athlete" or just here for the snacks, there will be something fun for every skill level (and every age). Not a sports person? We'll also have a craft room :)
Can I bring a plus one?
Of course! Bring the family. Just let us know in the RSVP who'll be attending!
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely! This is a family-friendly event, and Keva is the perfect place for kids to run around and burn off some energy.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
We will be indoors and outdoors at KEVA, so no need to worry about the Wisconsin humidity or a sudden rain shower.
Where's your registry?
Your presence is all we request. We are blessed to have all we need.
If you want to give, feel free to donate to a favorite charity.
What's the parking situation?
Keva has a large parking lot that will more than accommodate. If for any reason the lot is full, that means we may not have ordered enough food (kidding... when have we ever not gone overboard with food when hosting), but street parking is allowed.
How can I help on the big day?
Thank you so much for offering as we truly appreciate it. We don’t expect anyone to work, but if you’d like to help in a small way, we’d be grateful. Crochet fans: please contact Katie if you can make crocheted flowers. If you’re willing to help with very light setup or take‑down, let us know and we’ll share details closer to the wedding.
Can I bring fireworks/Fourth of July fun?
We will be across the street from a small airport, so the typical fun festivities of Fourth of July is limited, and we don't want to burn down the facility. Closer to the date, we may go to a firework show near town and invite anyone to join who wants to.
Are dogs welcomed?
Keva has a no pet policy we need to enforce.
What is the food situation?
We will have a buffet and will ensure various diets and needs are met.
I have more questions, where can I go?
Reach out to Nathan or Katie directly, we are happy to help.
When do I need to RSVP?
It doesn't matter - just let us know when you know so we can make sure there's plenty of food. We're not picky.
